On Oct. 15, 2021, Manitoba Public Health officials advised Roblin Elementary School of at least one confirmed case of COVID-19 in the school on Oct. 6, 2021. On October 8, 2021, MVSD was notified of a new case of COVID-19 associated with Roblin Elementary School; however, the individual was NOT present in the school during their period of communicability (POC) and there are no school-related close contacts. Therefore, no public health investigation in the school is required. The case will appear on the Manitoba COVID-19 Dashboard in the coming days. Click on the link for more details.

Public Health will be hosting a COVID vaccine clinic at RES on October 7 at 1:00pm. Only children born after December 31, 2009 are eligible. If you would like your child to receive the vaccine, the consent form that was sent home must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian

On October 4, Roblin Elementary School was listed as being in COVID-19 Outbreak Status on the provincial online COVID-19 Dashboard. Mountain View School Division reached out to Public Health as there have been no new reported school-associated cases at the school in recent days. Public Health looked into the matter and it was determined that the school was listed in Outbreak Status in error. We apologize for any confusion this error may have caused.

In honour of School Support Staff Recognition Week (Sep. 27-Oct. 1, 2021), as proclaimed by the Minister of Education, a sincere "thank you" is extended to all support staff in MVSD for the valuable work they do in our schools and in supporting the education of our students!

Within Mountain View School Division, this year for the first time, September 30th will be observed as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
