We are pleased to share with you an opportunity that the Western Manitoba Science Fair has put together. In place of their annual science fair, and in mind of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, they are welcoming students to participate in an online science expo. Students can participate if they’re interested by submitting a video, audio recording, or other online format of their science fair presentation. In our continued effort to support families during these difficult times, the MVSD Student Services Team has launched a HELP Line for parents/guardians. The HELP Line provides support for stress management, coping skills, and advice on how to talk with your children about COVID-19. Our clinicians can also provide parents/guardians with guidance on how to support their children during the suspension of classes and connect families with the appropriate school team members. Under the new COVID-19 tab you will find letters from RES' administrators as well as new information on the suspension of classes and remote learning.

SeeSaw and Class Dojo (Gr K-5) and Teams (Gr 6-12) have been recommended for MVSD classrooms as a means to organize and share learning resources with their families that have internet and device access. Click on the above link for more information, along with tutorials and supports!

We have made changes to allow for an online format for filling out the necessary documentation for Kindergarten registration. Please click on the above link to access the forms and more information!
