MVSD Board of Trustees - Celebration of Learning and Regular Board Meeting

The MVSD Board of Trustees is hitting the road! Over the course of the next year and a half, the Board and Senior Administration will be visiting all seven of our communities. Each visit will coincide with a scheduled Regular Board Meeting. A school-based Celebration of Learning will also take place. The first visit will take place in Roblin on Monday, Mar. 9th at Roblin Elementary School. For details, click on the above link!

Hello RES Parents!!
Your RES Parent Advisory Council (PAC) will be hosting a fundraising BBQ during parent teacher interviews, Thursday March 12th from 6 – 7pm. So, don’t worry about cooking supper! Come out and support PAC before you Parent-Teacher interviews. The cost is $
Mrs. Cockerill will be hosting a book fair during Parent-Teacher interviews, March 12 and 13. Who doesn’t love new books?
If you’re having trouble with your children leaving their belongings everywhere, check out Mabels Labels. These are amazing! You can use them on clothing (don’t come off in the wash) food containers (won’t come off in the dishwasher), school supplies, sports equipment, anything really. This is also a fundraiser that supports our Roblin PAC. Go to Mabelslabels.ca, click on “Support a Fundraiser”, “Roblin Elementary Parent Advisory Council (Roblin)” then “Let’s Go Shopping”.
PAC will be coming around collecting for Donor’s choice April 20-25. We are always looking for new members, so if you think you are interested in joining this team e-mail us at [email protected].

MVSD Board of Trustees Nominates Student for MSBA Citizenship Award

Congratulations to Emily Gudbjartson, who has been nominated by the MVSD Board of Trustees to be considered for the 2020 Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA) Student Citizenship Award. Emily was one of five students in MVSD who submitted applications for nomination, and we are proud to acknowledge these students' contributions to their communities and schools.
