Congratulations to Emily Gudbjartson, who has been nominated by the MVSD Board of Trustees to be considered for the 2020 Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA) Student Citizenship Award. Emily was one of five students in MVSD who submitted applications for nomination, and we are proud to acknowledge these students' contributions to their communities and schools. The MVSD Board of Trustees is seeking applications for nomination for the Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA) Student Citizenship Award.  The George Harbottle Memorial Award, sponsored by the Association of Manitoba Municipalities (AMM), will be selected from amongst the regional MSBA Student Citizenship award winners.  Applications must be received by the MVSD Board of Trustees by January 24, 2020 to be considered for nomination to MSBA. Click on the above link for details!

Schools in MVSD will be closed to the public during Christmas break from Dec. 23 to Jan. 3 inclusive and will reopen on Monday, Jan. 6. The Division Office will be closed from Dec. 23-27, and will reopen Monday, Dec. 30 (closed Jan. 1, 2020 for New Year's Day).

Mountain View School Division has released its 2018-2019 Community Report, which highlights progress made towards the 2016-2021 Division Plan. Electronic and/or printed copies of the report will be distributed to families via schools.  Printed copies will also be available upon request at local schools and the Division Office.  For more information, please contact the Division Office at (204) 638-3001.
